With Remote Interface Panel
Step 01: Power on the L-CAT EVO robot in the lower left hand corner of
the machine
Step 02: Press the HOME key on the remote panel to HOME the robot.
The iron unit power should start automatically.
Step 03: Press the HEATER key one time and check the SET
TEMPERATURE. Set the temperature according to the
application requirements (300 ~ 420 C) by using the UP/DOWN
arrows on the robot interface
Step 04: Select the correct program number using the program selector
(1-99)
Step 05: Press the GREEN START button to initiate a program sequence
The robot will be begin moving!
Button Description:
START Initiates a program sequence or restarts after a STOP signal
P. STOP This is a partial stop signal which will stop the robot during
running a sequence, START re-starts the robot
RESET Resets an error condition (temp error or solder clog)
HOME Homes the robot upon POWER UP
PROG Sel Select a program for operation (0-99)
E-STOP Stops the robot and kills power to the motors, a full system
re-start is required after an E-Stop condition
Item to Check:
a) Make sure the air is on to the machine (required for operation)
b) Make sure that the POWER, ORIGIN and STAND-BY LED’s are illuminated
c) Check the iron tip for wear prior to soldering
d) Check the sponges to ensure that they are saturated
e) Make sure that the upper line of the display shows the temperature of 360 Degrees Celsius
